IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

2024-25 FAFSA available December 2023

Historically FAFSA has been available from October 1st every year. However, there are major changes and improvements coming to the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, so the Department of Education has indicated that this redesigned and streamlined FAFSA will be available for students and parents by December 31, 2023.

NOTE: Schools won't begin to receive FAFSA data until mid-March (at the earliest), which means AIMS Education won't be able to notify students that we have received their applications until late March or early April. More specific timelines will be posted here when announced.

Attention Current and Incoming Students - Submit FAFSA

The 2023-24 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. If you'll be attending school between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024, and have not submitted a 2023-24 FAFSA, please APPLY ASAP using your 2021 income tax return.

Financial Aid at AIMS Education

There are three primary types of financial aid available to AIMS Education students. The financial aid options listed below may be available through the government (federal, state, or local), private organizations or businesses, or AIMS Education.

  • Grants - money that does not have to be repaid.
  • Loans - money that you borrow and agree to pay back with interest.
  • Scholarship - tuition waiver grants that reduces cost of tuition & fees.

The following federal grants and loans can help you with both tuition and other school related expenses:

  • Federal PELL Grant
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
  • Federal Direct Loan Program

Your eligibility for any of these grants and loans varies according to the program, its funding source, your enrollment status and your financial need as determined by the college.

Scholarships are Tuition Waiver grants that are awarded usually on the basis of academic merit and financial needs of a student.
