Neurodiagnostic Technologist Program Earns CAAHEP Accreditation!
AIMS Education is proud to announce that our Neurodiagnostic Technologist program has earned programmatic accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). AIMS is now the only program in the state of New Jersey that has earned this prestigious accreditation.
This is the third program at AIMS to earn CAAHEP accreditation. Both the Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography programs are accredited by CAAHEP.
There are numerous benefits to graduating from an accredited healthcare program. Most importantly, graduates of our Neurodiagnostic Technologist program will have the opportunity to become certified through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET). Graduates of CAAHEP accredited programs are eligible to take the EEG certification exam and the Evoked Potential certification exam offered by ABRET.
The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is a programmatic postsecondary accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and carries out its accrediting activities in cooperation with 23 review committees (Committees on Accreditation). CAAHEP currently accredits over 2100 entry level education programs in 28 health science professions.
