Ronald McDonald House Donation Drop Off
May 6, 2015
During the month of April, AIMS Education partnered with the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Charities of Long Branch and New Brunswick for the 1st Annual "Support a Family in Need" event. On May 6th, AIMS Clinical Relations Coordinator Justine Kimler had the opportunity to visit the Ronald McDonald House of New Brunswick and drop off all of the donations collected during the charity event. AIMS students and staff members generously donated a number of needed items including paper plates, trash bags, hand sanitizer, cutlery, ziploc storage bags, latex gloves, and storage containers.
Assistant House Manager Nychey Michel accepted the donations on behalf of the Ronald McDonald House of New Brunswick, and the RMH staff, volunteers, and families were very thankful for the donations. Ronald McDonald House charities depend solely on donations through fundraising, so events like this can make a big difference in their ability to provide support for families in need. The New Brunswick House serves 80 families a year as their children undergo medical treatment at nearby hospitals.
