To get her foot in the door of the healthcare field, Jenna decided to enroll in a Medical Assistant program. When she set out to find the right school for her training, she knew she wanted a school that was institutionally accredited, conveniently located, and known for providing an excellent education. AIMS fit the bill.
Overall, Jenna had a great experience training to become a medical assistant. She enjoyed the hands-on training and thought it complemented the classroom education well. She also found the interaction with her classmates very rewarding.
During her clinical internship, she learned a great deal about patient care while working directly with patients. As she gained more experience and developed her skills, she became more and more confident as a healthcare professional.
Shortly after graduating from AIMS, Jenna was offered a job at Island Medical Specialists. Island Medical Specialists has three offices and provides medical care to a wide range of patients. The experience she’s gaining at her new job has been invaluable.
The next step for Jenna is to take the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification exam offered by American Medical Technologists.
