NTHS AIMS Offers Support for Community Soup Kitchens
Members of the AIMS Education chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) are taking part in the Rolled Silveware Project initiated by Elijah's Promise. Utensils are greatly needed at community soup kitchens to set up dining room tables during meal serve. The Rolled Silverware Project is asking for utensil donations (plastic fork, spoon, and knife, wrapped in a napkin and tied with string) to be delivered to your community soup kitchen. An unlimited amount can be accepted.
On Wednesday, April 12th, NTHS members will be meeting in the cafeteria of the Piscataway campus to prepare the rolled silverware for donation. All supplies for the event will be donated by AIMS Education. NTHS members can attend the morning session at 8:30am or the evening session at 5:00pm. It will take approximately 30 minutes to assemble the items.
Please contact Justine Keane by April 7th if you will be able to attend the event. This is a great opportunity to help out an amazing organization in our community. We look forward to all of your support!
